The holidays are quickly approaching and these peanut butter and caramel cups will make a great gift! I try to give out something homemade for the holidays. I’ve done red velvet cake pops, pineapple tequila, cookies, you name it. Even if you don’t feel like making these little guys, the salted caramel sauce would be a great gift on it’s own. These peanut butter and salted caramel cups are so quick and easy you have to give it a try especially if you love chocolate like me.
Peanut Butter and Salted Caramel Cups
- 8oz high quality milk chocolate or chocolate of your choice
- Peanut Butter
- Salted Caramel Sauce
- Fleur del Sel
- Peanut butter cup molds
Melt half the chocolate in the microwave for about a minute and a half until melted. Be sure to stir chocolate constantly to be sure it does not burn. Using a spoon or small brush, coat the bottom and sides of molds with chocolate. Place molds in the refrigerated for just a few minutes until the chocolate sets.
After chocolate is set, spoon a small amount of peanut butter or caramel in the center. Melt the rest of the chocolate and spoon on top of the filling and cover molds to the very top. Sprinkle with Fleur del Sel if desired. Chill molds until chocolate has set.
* Chocolate molds can be purchased at most craft stores and on Amazon.com
those sound so good!
Thanks! They are yummy
These are awesome, thanks for posting the video too. I’m new to your site, but you have some awesome recipes. Btw, I could tell you were from Philly by your accent. I’m a Philly girl living in New York, I’m surrounded by thick Brooklyn accent so hearing someone from my city is refreshing! Keep up the good work!
Thanks so much! a lot of people can’t pick up on the Philly accent. They think it’s a little southern lol
