If your planning a cocktail party, try a champagne bar. It makes things fun for your guests and gives them a chance to be creative. It also gives you time to sit back and relax instead of playing bartender. Just provide your guests with several mix in options, garnishes, glasses and champagne.
You can use any ingredients you like for your set up. Different fruit purees, sorbet, an assortment of spirits, fruit juices, different garnishes, the possibilities are endless. For my champagne bar, I included the following:
- Elderflower liqueur
- Rum
- Spiced pear puree*
- Mixed berry puree*
- Pink grapefruit juice
- Candy cane pop rocks
- Peppermint cotton candy
- Blood orange and mango sorbet
- Lemon Wedges
- Mint
*Recipe Below
With the options above, I decided to make a peppermint champagne cocktail, a spiced pear bellini, a mixed berry mojito, and a champagne sorbet float.
Mixed Berry Puree
- 1 Bag frozen mixed berries
- 1/4 cup simple syrup
Thaw berries completely and strain through a sieve. Use the back of a spoon to release all the juice. Add simple syrup. You may also blend berries and then strain.
Spiced Pear Puree
- 3 ripe pears
- 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/4 cup simple syrup
Add all ingredients to a blender. Process until smooth and strain.
The appetizers shown in the photo and featured in the video will be posted shortly. Cheers!
I cant get over how good the pop rocks/cotton candy cocktail was, look forward to tryin it myself, maybe for my bday lol
