Jalapeño Popper Crab Dip

This recipe is great when you want the flavor of a jalapeno popper but really don’t feel like all the work of stuffing the peppers. Perfect for your super bowl party!

Jalapeño Popper Crab Dip

  • 8oz cream cheese softened
  •  ½ cup mayo
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese of your choice
  • 2 jalapenos diced
  • 6oz lump crab meat
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese

Topping

  • ¼ cup shredded cheese of your choice
  • 2 tbs panko

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Mix all dip ingredients together until combined. Place in an oven safe dish and top with shredded cheese and panko. If you like, add a little melted butter on top to get a nice golden brown color. Bake 20 or until bubbly. Serve with toasted bread, pita, or tortilla chips.

  1. Thank you for another amazing recipe! I have a question…some people have shellfish allergies…any ideas for crab meat substitution?

    1. I’m glad you like it! If your making this for someone with a shellfish allergy but they are ok to eat fish, you could always use imitation crab meat. If fish is out of the question, I would just do it as a plain jalapeno popper dip or even add something like shredded chicken.
