First Stop: Rome

I absolutely love Rome! When we arrived the weather was a little on the chilly side, but we still enjoyed our first night eating pizza from one of our favorite places, eating gelato, and visiting the Trevi Fountain. If you couldn’t tell, I’m a little obsessed with pizza. I could definitely eat it every day, no exaggeration. Lucky for me, our hotel is located within walking distance of some of the best pizza I have ever had. August was my first time at Al Forno della Soffitta, but I couldn’t wait to get back!

A little Prosecco

Amatriciana: Bacon, tomato, a little red pepper

Mushroom

Next on to some sight seeing. The Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, the Vatican, and the Spanish Steps

The Colosseum

Wine break at the Colosseum

The Vatican

Trevi Fountain

Ancient Ruins

Yummy Gelato. Pistachio and coconut is my favorite

This trip to Rome, I was able to visit the open air market at Campo de’ Fiori as well as Trestervere. Stay tuned for more pics and my favorite restaurant!
