Boozy freeze pops

When you don’t feel like making a cocktail, have these handy pops ready in the freezer and just sit back and relax. All you need are disable freeze pop bags, your favorite cocktail recipe, and you’re all set. The possibilities are endless, so go forth and create! Here are three options to get you started.

Watermelon Rosé

  • 2/3 cups watermelon juice
  • 1/3 cup tequila
  • 1 cup rosé
  • 2 tsp lime juice
  • simple syrup to taste
  • pinch of salt

Aperol Spritz

  • 1 cup Prosecco
  • 1 cup Aperol
  • juice of one orange
  • simple syrup to taste

Strawberry Limoncello Spritz

  • 1 cup Prosecco
  • 3/4 cup Limoncello
  • 1 cup sliced strawberries pureed
  • juice of one lemon
  • simple syrup to taste

Makes 5 pops per recipe using freeze pop bags holding approximately 4 ounces.

To make freeze pops, simply combine all ingredients, taste and adjust for your taste preference and fill freeze pop bags. Freeze overnight. Due to the high alcohol content, the Aperol spritz and Limoncello spritz do not freeze completely solid.

Freeze pops can also be added to a blender with a little liquid to make a frozen cocktail.
