Herbed Ricotta and Pistachio Crostini with Honey

This crostini is great for cocktail parties or a quick snack. It takes just a few minutes to put together so it’s a great option if you have a few people over and only have a little prep time. You can use any fresh herbs you like, whatever you have around will work. I used truffle honey but any honey will do. Use a good quality hand dipped ricotta for this, it will really make a difference. Serve with a nice glass of bubbly and enjoy!

Chili Cheese Tots

I wanted to post this quick suggestion for any left over short rib chili you may have.  Just load up your tater tots with chili, melted cheese, sour cream, and green onions. Trust me, it is delicious! And if you want to make it even better, make your own tater tots!

My friend Melissa, owner of Cookie Confidential, whipped up these cookies with chicken marinated in hot sauce made by yours truly, blue cheese, and some other secret ingredients. The cookie takes exactly like a buffalo wing dipped in blue cheese. They won’t be around long so stop by if your in the Philadelphia area or visit her site for online ordering.

On my way home I stopped in Garces with my friend Danielle from That Might Come in Handy. I picked up a bottle of Vina los Valles Rioja made with organic grapes and a jar of roasted garlic ducle de leche.
