Citrus Scented Olive Oil Cake

This cake takes me right back to Florence. It’s laced with lemon and orange zest and super moist from the olive oil. It’s light and fluffy and a perfect end to a summer meal. This cake is also a great breakfast treat. Top with pine nuts as I have or with a dusting of powdered sugar. Either way is delicious and I’m sure this will become one of your favorite cakes.

Tea Time Featuring Thé des Amants, Homemade Brioche, and Pear Butter

Le Palais des Thés has come out with a limited edition tea for her and him this Valentines Day. I was lucky enough to get my hands on the Thé des Amants for her. It’s perfect for breakfast or a quick snack.

It is really one of the simplest things to make and the taste is so much better than store bought. It’s also nice because you can control the amount of sugar you put in. These preserves will also make a great holiday gift.

Quick Peach Caramel Sticky Buns

This is a bit of an experiment to add a little something extra to refrigerated cinnamon buns. This definitely makes refrigerated cinnamon buns taste a whole lot better, but nothing compares to anything fresh and homemade!

Mascarpone Stuffed French Toast with Brown Sugar Banana Sauce

There is no better way to spend your Sunday than having brunch. While I like going out for brunch, sometimes I feel like I can never get exactly what I want and it can get expensive after a couple mimosas! One of my favorite things to make for breakfast/brunch is french toast with brown sugar banana sauce. I don’t always add mascarpone, but it just adds a little something extra to take this to another level of good.

Mini Pancakes

Just had to share a pic of these mini pancakes which have to be the cutest littles things I have ever seen. My mom picked these up for me from one of our local bakeries, Paris Baguette. They were just as good as they looked!
